It is proving to be an excellent parent, with dominance for color, strong stems and bloom period. The flowers of Rubescent Fire (Lc. Spring Fires x Pot. Rubescence) are a vivid deep red and full-shaped, held 5-6 on a strong stem. This breeding line continues the development of plants that will produce strong stems holding 5-7 well-formed deep red flowers above the foliage.
