The flowers of Ctsm. Melana Davison (Ctsm. denticulatum x Ctsm. Penang) have come in many different colors, but one of the most beautiful is 'Snow White' with its perfectly arranged, pure white flowers with a slight peppering of red on the petals; this is a mini-Catasetum that blooms 3-4 times a season! Ctsm. Diana's Dots (Ctsm. Orchidglade x Ctsm. tigrinum) has the best shaped mini-Catasetum flowers I have seen, and every time it flowers (2-3 times a season) I am reminded how good this plant is. The flowers are uniformly yellow with a little red peppering on the petals. This mini-Catasetum hybrid is bringing together several important traits that will be expressed in the offspring: frequent flowering, excellent flower shape, small plant size, and colors ranging from white to yellow.
