Sophrolaeliocattleya Circle of Life 'Mesmerize' AM/AOS x Sophrolaeliocattleya Paradise Rose 'My Valentine'

Little introduction is needed for Circle of Life (Lc. Culminant x Soph. coccinea), and 'Mesmerize’ is one of the best, with particularly large flat flowers, excellent shape, surprisingly wide petals and rich red color. The color dominance of Paradise Rose (Slc. Pink Doll x Blc. Toshie Aoki) has been described elsewhere in this listing, and we expect it to pass much of the intense carmine-red flower color to this cross. These plants are exhibiting excellent vigor, and some have flowered already, less than two years from flask! The flowers are dark red/burgundy with superior shape and darker-red lips!  I almost forgot to mention that these will flower twice a year when mature. This grex has huge potential to set a new standard for color and shape.
