Potinara Rubescent Fire 'Fire Bomb' x Potinara Martha Clarke 'Bali Flare' HCC/AOS

Rubescent Fire (Lc. Spring Fires x Pot. Rubescence) has great shape, color, flower count, a good stem, and is easy to grow. Now that’s a lot of good qualities! Martha Clarke (Blc. Love Sound x Slc. Circle of Life) is such a good grex that I named it after my wife! The cultivar 'Bali Flare' is one of the best, with excellent shape and color plus a twice-a-year blooming habit, making it a good parent. This breeding is targeting richly-colored flowers in mostly red, but some will be in sunset shades favoring red. Sturdy stems will carry 4-6 well-shaped blooms held just above the foliage. I have been very happy with this style of breeding, and these will be beautiful.
