Laeliocattleya Spring Fires 'Lenette' #3' x Potinara Rubescent Fire 'April Rocket'

Spring Fires (Lc. Fires of Spring x Lc. Fire Island) has strong upright stems carrying 5-9 red flowers with darker red lips. It is proving to be an excellent parent, with dominance for color, strong stems and bloom period. The flowers of Rubescent Fire (Lc. Spring Fires x Pot. Rubescence) are a vivid deep red and full-shaped, held 5-6 on a strong stem. This breeding line continues the development of plants that will produce strong stems holding 5-7 well-formed deep red flowers above the foliage.
