Orange Nuggett (Blc. Manu Akaka x Bc. Daffodil) has sired many impressive and well-known hybrids, to name a few; Iwan. Appleblossom, Blc. Momilani Rainbow, and Fuchs Orange Nugget. Its flowers are deep orange and have heavy substance. Guess What (Blc. Waikiki Gold x Lc. Trick or Treat) has vibrant orange flower color and blooms with cluster of 8-9 flowers; it is one of my favorite March bloomers and has been playing an important role in our breeding program. The expectation for this cross is for heads of 5-7 flowered in solid orange. We are expecting improved flower shape as the Orange Nuggett will improve fullness of the lip and Guess What will add segment width. A great orange hybrid.
