Brassolaeliocattleya Love Blush (Picotee Passion 'SVO' AM/AOS x Love Sound 'Dogashima' AM/AOS)

The late Frank Fordyce crossed Blc. Horizon Flight with L. anceps, and when I received the first AOS award on this grex, he allowed me to register it. I chose the name Picotee Passion. The cultivar ’SVO’ was that first awarded plant, and it has the most amazing flower color! The 5-6 flowers are rather large and well displayed on an L. anceps-like inflorescence about 12” long. Love Sound has long ago proven itself as an excellent breeder. It imparts several important qualities, including full, round flowers, bright-yellow color, a good stem carrying 4-6 blooms, and an attractive compact growth habit. This cross produced 5-6 well-arranged light-yellow flowers with a rose/red blush on the petals and an upright inflorescence. Plant are compact with a handsome upright growth habit.
